 Action for Children
Age Concern  Westminster

Every year, thousands of older people benefit from the services provided by Age Concern Westminter. These services can be vital in maintaining an older person's independence, improving their quality of life and helping them to live in their own homes longer.

Housing 21

The Bayswater Families Centre works with homeless families living in temporary accommodation. They are also involved with children in need, often with child protection concerns. Your gifts will bring Christmas to these families and give children learning opportunities through play.

The aim of Housing 21 and Elgin Day Care Centre is to improve people's lives by promoting independence and choice for older people. They provide a range of care, health and housing options, so whatever their needs, they can provide some support.

This charity is unable to accept gifts of cash at this time.

Community Preschools

Fisherton, New Pin, Radicle, Westminster Preschool Learning Alliance, St. Paul's Nursery and IMPs are all charitable preschools in the local community. Many of the children in these nurseries come from low-income, refugee, homeless or single-parent homes. Gifts will be presented at a Christmas party for the children.

WECH is a resident-led housing association which aims to improve the quality of life of its residents. Every year, a group of staff volunteers organise a Christmas lunch and entertainment for the elderley residents, presenting each of them with a gift. For some, this Christmas party may be the only celebration of the season they will have.

LEYF, previously known as Westminster Children's Society (WCS), runs 18 community nurseries in London. They support lower income families by subsidising the cost of local childcare and providing learning opportunities, thus assisting families to become financially independent.
